Reporting schedule and shareholder meeting
The calendar sets Friday, February 5, for the 2026 Financial Statement Release and Thursday, March 11, for the Annual Report. The shareholder meeting is planned for Thursday, April 1, 2027.
Aktia will publish its January-March interim report on Thursday, April 29. The January-June half-year report is scheduled for Friday, July 30, and the January-September interim report for Friday, October 29, 2027.
The planned AGM date follows the bank's recent pattern of early-April meetings. Shareholders met at the Valla conference center in Helsinki on April 1, 2026, and at Pikku-Finlandia in Helsinki on April 3, 2025. The 2024 meeting was also held on April 3.
The calendar announcement names Oscar Taimitarha, director of investor relations, as the contact for further information. It was distributed to Nasdaq Helsinki Ltd and the mass media.
Dividend and capital policy
Under the capital and dividend policy updated on February 27, 2025, Aktia aims to distribute approximately 60% of each reporting period's profit as dividends. It may return excess capital through additional dividends or share buybacks.
The bank's capital target is a Common Equity Tier 1 (CET1) ratio between 2 and 4 percentage points above the regulatory requirement. Aktia paid a dividend of EUR 0.80 per share on April 14, 2026.
2026 earnings outlook
Aktia's January-June 2026 half-year report, released on July 30, showed second-quarter comparable operating profit of EUR 43.7 million, up 67% from a year earlier. Assets under management reached a record EUR 18.1 billion.
In that report, Aktia said it expected full-year 2026 comparable operating profit to be roughly equal to or slightly above the EUR 106.0 million reported for 2025.
Two anniversaries in 2026
Aktia's 200th anniversary traces its history to its predecessor, Helsinki Savings Bank. On April 8, 1826, Sophia Albertina Schelin, a fisherman's daughter, opened the bank's first savings account with a deposit of 16 shillings, providing its initial capital.
The year 2026 also marks the 35th anniversary of the merger that brought Helsinki Savings Bank and seven other regional savings banks together under the Aktia name in 1991. Aktia listed on Nasdaq Helsinki in 2009.
