Beyond the headline, the page is largely devoted to an advertisement for a mushroom-based nootropic supplement. It includes a "WATCH FULL" link and two related-story links, but no written account explaining the claimed alliance or collapse.
U.S. stocks had fallen in the days before the post. According to Investopedia, the Nasdaq Composite lost 2.6% on Thursday, Oct. 22, 2026, its worst session since June, while the S&P 500 declined 1.2%. Investors moved into government bonds, and the 10-year Treasury yield fell to about 4.97%.
Byington's predictions and disclaimer
Byington's Oct. 24, 2026, "Restored Republic via a GCR" report, published by American Media Group, describes a predicted sequence of financial and communications failures. It attributes the anticipated collapse to a "soon expected" Deep State cyberattack on the global financial system, followed by "ten days of communication darkness" and Emergency Broadcast System announcements. It says a gold- and silver-backed Quantum Financial System would then activate.
That report also claims that ISO 20022 "completes its migration across all major banking rails" on Saturday, Oct. 24, 2026. It names SWIFT, the Federal Reserve, the European Central Bank, the Bank of England, BRICS settlement networks and the IMF.
The reports include an explicit qualification about their reliability: information quoted from social media "may or may not be true" and is presented "for educational or entertainment purposes only and not as fact."
Predictions of an imminent Emergency Broadcast System activation and "Ten Days of Darkness" have appeared in Byington's updates for years. A Dec. 27, 2020, update on Operation Disclosure said the darkness had begun on Dec. 19 and would end Dec. 28, 2020. It also forecast NESARA implementation and a return to a gold-backed dollar. More recently, her Oct. 17, 2026, update on RR Daily Blog said "EBS by Sunday."
The figures named alongside Byington
Juan O Savin is the alias of a QAnon promoter whom journalists and online researchers have identified as Wayne Willott, according to PolitiFact. Willott is a former private investigator from Washington state; court records show he was conducting insurance investigations in Alaska as of 2009. Some QAnon adherents falsely believe Savin is the late John F. Kennedy Jr. in disguise.
PolitiFact reported that Savin and Nevada Republican Jim Marchant co-founded the America First Secretary of State Coalition. The group included more than a dozen candidates seeking secretary of state offices and other election-administration posts in battleground states, including Nevada, Arizona, Michigan and Pennsylvania. Donald Trump endorsed several of those candidates.
David Nino Rodriguez, a former boxer described in reporting as a QAnon promoter, hosted Savin on his show. During that appearance, Savin described the secretary of state office as the position with the power to "cook the vote."
